Perfectly imperfect - I’ve been playing for sometime to make some small coin purses with a zip fastening and this is one of the samples. I’ve been experimenting with using different zips.
I have described it as a coin purse but could equally be used for anything you have to keep secure. I use one to carry my medication in my bag.
It has been made from a textile of a cream background with larges leaves and flowers of green, buttermilk and rusts which was a furnishing fabric sample and has been decorated with the a hand embroidered snail, crawling along one of the stems.
The bag fastens with a cream nylon coil zip with a metal slider and is lined in a contrasting textile of a dull yellow and cream patterned fabric which is also an oddment from a curtain sample.
As I buy my textiles as and when I see them, I’m not always sure of exact fibre content.
Size: 12 cm wide by 10 cm high
The purse will be sent out Royal Mail second class
