Full description
A handsome green man which has been made from woollen fibres. The base and features have been sculpted into shape using a barbed felting needle with the moustache and eyebrows formed over a wire base. The leaves around the circumference have been cut from a piece of hand made, wet felted green felt . A small gold coloured hanging loop has been attached to the reverse to ease mounting of the green man.
The wall hanging measures approximately 20cm (8") wide x 22cm (9") high.
Traditionally the green man is a symbol of rebirth. He is a handsome fellow with bushy eyebrows and a striking moustache. This green man would take pride of place in any home and would be a lovely addition to any collection.
As this item is made from wool, I would not recommend it for use outside.
