I have always loved making moon's especially crescent face characters. I am inspired by fairy tales and myths.
I loved stories growing up such as The Magic Faraway Tree with Moonface.

I have always loved making moon's especially crescent moon face characters
This Autumn I decided to redesign my moon pattern and I love the new look
This piece is hand made in textiles then stuffed and painted by hand.
I themes this piece around the goddess Persephone and the imagery of pomegranates.
I layered cosmic, shimmering blues and painted red pomegranates on top.
I finished her with a botanical design in white, then topped her with a gorgeous huge tassel
She measures approx 11 inches high, 18 inches with the tassel
Comes with a stamped and sealed tag
