Full description
Lavender scented sachet apple, made from Liberty Strawberries and Cream tana lawn fabric in green. It's lovely to give as a thank you present, perhaps for a teacher, as a birthday gift, or keep as a little treat to yourself.
The main part of the apple measures 11.5cm wide (4.5 inches) and 9cm high (3.5 inches). The fabric features tiny, sweet pink strawberries and pretty daisies on a mid green ground.
I have made a lightly stuffed stalk from brown linen fabric and sewn on a green cotton fabric leaf, on which I have machine stitched the leaf details. On the front of the apple I have hand appliqued a pink wool felt circle highlight.
The apple is filled with lots of lovely organic lavender flowers. The scent will last well and you can squeeze the apple to reactivate the scent, or add lavender drops later on too.
