Full description
A lovely lavender cat made using a beautiful Liberty quilting cotton fabric and filled with scented lavender, perfect to sit on a pillow to help you have a restful night's sleep, or to pop into bedroom drawers to sweetly scent clothes.
The cat measures 15cm wide at the tail and 13cm high. The Liberty cotton fabric I've used is a lovely small floral in pink, blue, yellow and green on a cream ground. The cat is filled with scoops of fresh lavender and some toy stuffing for a firm shape. The scent lasts a long time and you only need to squeeze the cat to release the scent, or you can add lavender drops too.
I've hand sewn the face details onto wool felt; stitched eyes and whiskers in black and a nose in pink embroidery thread. I've then finished the cat with a pretty yellow satin ribbon bow.
