It is with great sadness that after many months of consideration, we have decided to close our Folksy shop, with a permanent closing date of 30th November 2024.

If you're looking for one of a kind pieces to gift, these mini umbrella brooches are an unusual, colourful alternative, suitable for all year round events from birthdays, thank you or just because!
The base of the umbrella has been wet felted, to add on finer details using a felting needle, memory wire to mimic the shaft/ handle and fine seed beads for the tips of the canopy.
Quirky, individual and light enough to travel long distances safely if sending on as a gift, each brooch arrives with its own cotton tote bag to keep safe when not in use. Soft, tactile brooches, they can be added to outerwear, hats and scarves to hopefully raise a smile on any rainy day!
Measurements are approximate due to the nature of the work.

Width (umbrella canopy)- 5.5-6 cm
-This piece will arrive with its own cotton drawstring bag to keep it safe when you aren't using it. If you would like it presented in a kraft gift box, please choose this option before checking out.
