Full description

Handmade fused glass mushroom, ideal for a garden setting, as well as indoor and outdoor pots. Hand-cut cream coloured art glass, decorated with glass powders in shades of red, yellow and orange, and then fused in my kiln. After fusing, the mushroom cap has been fired a second time at a lower temperature over a metal former to give it a gently curved organic shape. The stalk is a length of plastic pipe, cut to an angle at one end, and securely fixed to the cap with strong silicone.

Mushroom cap measures 12cm across approx, and the stalk is 21cm max in length. Suitable for garden use all year round.

When 'planting' your mushroom, I suggest you dig out the earth to the required depth, removing stones and compacted earth, push it into the ground using the stem, and not the cap, then firm down the surrounding earth.
