Full description
I started making sunflower as a result of a sunflower challenge set in our close and thought I’d make my own flower in glass just in case mine didn't grow. I think this is quite a pretty design.
This will really add a splash of colour to your window, even on the dullest of days and will last longer than the real thing.
Each piece of glass has been hand cut, ground, washed, foiled and soldered together, washed again and polished. A ring and length of fishing line has been attached for hanging purposes.
The glass used for this sunflower is a granite backed streaky dark amber glass in the centre and yellow florentine glass for the petals both hadve a lovely texture.
The suncatcher measures 16cms x 15cms.
I will supply a window hook so you can hang it up as soon as received. Please wet the plunger before pushing firmly onto the window.
