Snowdrop suncatcher made from beautiful stained glass by Carole's Glass.
I wanted to make a simple snowdrop suncatcher, different to my normal suncatcher and this was what I came up with. As I wasn't sure how to add the green leaves I added green and clear glass beads to the wire circle to add that extra colour.
Each copies of glass is cut by hand, ground, washed, foiled and soldered together. I have used tinned copper wire for the flower stem and the circle around the snowdrop. Green and clear glass beads have been added to the surround for extra colour and interest.
I have used white streaky sea glass for the flower head and green textured glass for the ovary (the top of the snowdrop).
These measure approx 14cms in diameter - I have said approx as I have several of these and as handmade they are all slightly different.
I will supply a plunger so you can hang as soon as received. Please wet before pushing firmly onto the window.
i normally post the following working day and this will be sent using Royal Mail large letter Tracked 24 mail in a letterbox sized box. There will be no need to wait for the postman as it should go through your letterbox.
