This beautiful mug rug, featuring a a stack of books, is big enough to accommodate your drink and a cheeky biscuit.
The mug rug is approximately 19cm by 24cm (7.5 x 9.5 inches). It can be used as an oversized coaster for drinks and a snack or as a decoration.
The front has a yellow background and a patchwork picture of a stack of books. The back is a pale yellow fabric, with a middle layer of cotton wadding. The books are light purple, pink, blue and light green with some black detail and some typography fabric details. The mug rug is bound using a mixture of light and dark yellow cotton fabric.
The layers are machine quilted using free-motion quilting to add detail to the books.
All fabrics are 100% high quality cotton scraps left over from previous projects.
I recommend surface wash only of these items, do not tumble dry
