I cut and polish my own fordite, surfite and bowlerite, I'm happy to take commissions.

These eye catching earrings will make quite a statement as they feature vibrant triangular drops of super sparkly fordite hanging from a sterling silver post fitting. These fordite earrings are also large (approx 60mm by 23mm) but fordite is lightweight. The fordite is a deliberately mis matched pairing to give an asymmetric design which is further highlighted by having the triangles hanging in opposite directions to each other, one of the earrings has a rings of pink, green, blue and white whilst the other is sparkly grey, red, green and white. The fordite is bezel set in sterling silver and the earrings are finished with silver discs hiding the post and scroll fitting (also sterling silver)
Not come across fordite before? Its layers of over spray paint that builds up in spray booths at car factories, the build up gets baked in the curing ovens in between each layer of paint giving a hard material that can be cut to show the many different colours in it. This particular material came from Jeep's factory in Toledo in 2021 and I cut and polish the material myself, I have matched the colours to the paint charts and the green is called 'gecko green' and the pink is 'Tuscadero pink' (they were both limited edition colours only produced in 2021). I have quite a stash of fordite from different factories so if you love the idea of fordite but want something else then drop me a message as I can probably help
