Full description
This small faux taxidermy african elephant head has been needle felted using woollen fibres and a barbed felting needle to sculpt the fibres into shape. The head has been mounted on a small (10cm diameter) circular plywood disc and a gold coloured hanger added to the reverse to facilitate hanging.
The sculpture (including trunk and ears) measures approximately 15cm (6") wide, 14cm (5.5") long and 7cm (2.75") deep.
This is an ornamental sculpture, not intended as a toy.
