Although Diamond is the traditional birthstone for Aries and April, clear Quartz is one of the accepted alternatives.
In order to showcase this beautiful pear-shaped quartz crystal, I chose black onyx and sardonyx beads, as they really set of the sparkle.
I also added tiny Swarovski crystals to add further diamond-like glints amongst the black beads.

Full description
Stylish black-and-gold necklace with sparkly Swarovski crystals and a teardrop of crystal quartz.
The centrepiece of this necklace is a stunning, AAA grade clear crystal quartz concave pear briolette measuring approximately 14.5mm x 9mm. It is beautifully cut and really sparkles when it catches the light.
On either side are 6mm frosted black onyx beads separated by 3mm Swarovski crystal AB bicones that glitter like diamonds.
I have then added a row of 6mm sardonyx beads, shiny black with bands of light grey/white.
The necklace graduates to smaller 4mm beads of frosted and polished black onyx.
The necklace is embellished with Tibetan-style spacer beads and fastens with a rose toggle clasp, both with an antique gold finish. These are nickel and lead free.
The necklace measures approximately 16 inches (41cm), designed to sit on the collarbone for maximum visibility.
Presented in a pretty organza gift bag.
