Fun to make! Got to say that I did pull a bit of a crowd with me frantically trying to get across the harbour entrance paddling like mad. Middle-aged mad woman on a paddleboard. Mad woman trying to paddle back with a load of handpicked driftwood. :)
The wee seagull was made specificaly to fit into the natural hole in the driftwood.

COMPLETELY UNIQUE AND 100% HANDMADE IN GLASS & DRIFTWOOD.

This piece of art is one of my newer items in my range: 6 little seagulls.
The driftwood was harvested by myself from Irvine Beach, Ayrshire. Many times I have stood and looked across the harbour and wanted the drift wood piling up on the inaccessible peninsular. Well, I bought a paddleboard and off I went and got it!
I am hoping that you like the finished piece as much as I enjoyed making it.
Driftwood: length 34cm, width 18cm, height 12cm (approx).
Height with seagulls: 16.5cm
