Full description
A needle felted magpie made from woollen fibres sculpted into shape using a barbed felting needle. After shaping a core wool base, coloured merino wool fibres have been added as a top coat. The beak is made from hand painted silk clay and the feet and legs made from wool wrapped wire. The magpie has been mounted onto a rustic wooden slice.
The magpie measures approximately 24cm (9.5“) long x 13cm (5“) tall, including base.
A perfect gift for bird lovers and ornothologists, gardeners and nature lovers.
Please note: this magpie is intended as a collectable or ornament. It is not suitable as a toy for children due to small parts and possible loose fibres.
