All of the jewellery pieces in this Folksy shop are handmade by myself in a lovely, shed studio in my back garden.
The handmade jewellery I make is inspired by nature, the coastline of my home Island of Mersea, meaningful words and the joy of simplicity.
Handmade in recycled sterling silver, recycled gold, sterling silver, copper, 14ct gold filled, and occasionally brass. Semi-precious stones, precious stones and beads are also featured in my work.

I love creating texture on silver, the dimples created by concrete are reminiscent of moon craters.

Full description
Recycled sterling silver sheet has been cut into a crescent moon shape and given a crater like surface by hammering the silver against a concrete path. The craters are oxidised to enhance the moon like appearance, raised silver crescent is given a high shine polish for extra contrast between the dark and light areas.
The sterling silver chain length including clasp is 46cm, this can be made to a different length if preferred.
The crescent moons height is 1.5cm
The pendant necklace comes in a necklace box.
It can take between 2 - 5 days to make before posting.
