Closing for my Christmas break 17th December. Last date for taking commissions 3rd December. Once the order book is full, made to order items might not be available to purchase again until the new year. To avoid disappointment, please do order ASAP for Christmas presents.
All of the jewellery pieces in this Folksy shop are handmade by myself in a lovely, shed studio in my back garden.
The handmade jewellery I make is inspired by nature, the coastline of my home Island of Mersea, meaningful words and the joy of simplicity.
Handmade in recycled sterling silver, recycled gold, sterling silver, copper, 14ct gold filled, and occasionally brass. Semi-precious stones, precious stones and beads are also featured in my work.
Thank you very much for your support.
I live and work on Mersea Island along the Essex coast, along the beach, there are rows of delightfully colourful beach huts. These studs might be small but they are full of character!

Tiny beach huts have been handmade from recycled sterling silver. Using cut offs from solid sterling silver wire that had been used for larger projects, I don't like anything going to waste... any scraps that don't get turned into earrings or studs will be melted down and made into something!
To create the details I use the sharp edge of a hammer for the wooden panels and an upside down 'U' for the door. The marks in the silver have been oxidised to highlight the details.
The tiny huts measure 4.5mm x 3mm
The fastenings for these earrings are recycled sterling silver butterfly scrolls.
Can take between 2 - 5 days to make before being dispatched.
Packaged in a small stud earring box finished with ribbon.
Posted by Royal Mail special delivery.
Thank you
