Amethyst is the birthstone for February and Aquarius.
It is also the stone for the 6th wedding anniversary.
It is believed that St Valentine wore an amethyst ring, carved with a cupid, to allow Roman soldiers wishing a Christian marriage to recognise him.

Full description
Assorted sizes and shapes of amethyst and hematite beads.
The amethyst ones are a 6mm round, 6mm x 4mm donut, 4mm and 3mm rounds.
The hematite are a 4mm cube, 5mm oval and 3.5mm donut.
The beads are hung from a fun pair of stainless steel ionised ear-wires with a metallic "rainbow" effect finish.
These drop earrings measure approximately 1.25 inches (3cm) excluding the wires.
Presented in a small organza gift bag.
