A solid beech wood platter in a simple but elegant elegand shape complemented with a light decoration to one edge. The platter comes complete with a hand thrown blue stoneware ceramic bowl with incised pattern which is mounted into a recess in the plater surface. The attractive design and colouration is also very practical with the inclusion of two hand holds to the underside for lifting and carrying.
The platter is finished with multiple coats of food safe oil which provide resistence to water, alcohol and food acids and gives the bowl a light satin sheen.
Platter dimensions 415 x 265 x 25 mm thick. Bowl dimensions 115mm diam. x 65mm ht. Overall weight 2.2 Kg.
To clean the platter wipe with damp cloth and dry. Occasional re-oiling with olive oil or other food safe oil will maintain the overall apperance. The ceramic bowl is dishwasher safe but recommended to handwash.
(Due to size and weight this item would be shipped by courier)
