Full description

This striking pendant features an elongated triangular piece of ocean jasper with a pretty pattern of orbs on a mossy green back ground, the orbs come in a mix of cream and pink shades. The ocean jasper is bezel set in sterling silver and is finished off with a simple loop bail and 18 in silver snake chain. The jasper switches from having a micro crystalline structure to more of a macro crystalline structure towards the top of the pendant and if you look closely you can see where the crystals mesh together. Measures 56mm (inc bail) by 22mm and comes gift boxed.

Ocean jasper comes from Madagascar and gets it's name from the fact it could only be mined when the tide was out. The original seams of ocean jasper have now been mined out but due to the popularity of this stone prospectors are looking for more, until they find a new source it is becoming increasingly hard to find quality material with defined orbs like this has.
