Hello and welcome to my Folksy shop! In addition to the UK, I'm happy to ship most items to the US, Canada, Japan and Australia - just message me for a shipping quotation If a shipping price isn't shown against an item you're interested in. Please note that all US shipping prices shown DO NOT include tracking.
Many of the pieces I make are made to order and the shipping time is a 'worse case scenario' estimate - I will often make and send items quicker than indicated, although things do sometimes slow down at busy times. If you want something urgently, just message me and I'll confirm if I can meet your deadline. Some items over £30 are posted via the 'signed for' Royal Mail service automatically, but if you'd like to make sure you have this on your order, just message me.

Full description
When you don't want to carry a handbag but you want something a bit larger than my usual coin purse, this one is the perfect size. You can fit in cash, cards, a set of keys, a lip balm, even your phone, if it's a little one.
The purse is made from Harris Tweed, woven in twill and herringbone patterns. The lining of the purse is Liberty tana lawn and there's a small slip pocket made with toning shot silk on one side, perfectly credit card sized.
I've interfaced the outer and lining of the purse with woven cotton for strength and durability, as well as adding a layer of fleece to the outer for some additional substance. I then add a light bronze coloured metal frame, which is hand stitched into place with cotton perle thread.
All the purses shown here are made using a tweed from one particular Harris weaver, but you'll find other ones in my shop and I have a variety of tweeds in my collection, if you're looking for something in particular - just message me to discuss. The photographs here show just a suggestion of the Liberty prints I've used for the lining and if you'd like to see a more detailed photo before selecting your purse, just ask. The penultimate photo shows what the silk card pocket looks like in one of the purses and you can see the dimensions of a purse made with this pattern in the last photo.
Please note that I'm not able to make a wristlet strap for this purse.
