A wish to re-visit card craft combined with textile crafts and very much with an eco flavour. I enjoy slow stitching with recycled materials.

A pretty, hand stitched panel decorates the front of this hand made greetings card which is left blank inside for your own special message.
A portion of fabric, including a ladder-stitch hem, has been saved from a recycled vintage tablecloth. Hand-embroidered borders, flower motifs and a pretty flower in a plant pot have been added along with a portion of lace trimming. The bottom of the panel has been trimmed with recycled lace, the other sides have been neatened with pinking sheers,
The fabric panlel has been sticthed to the front of an A6 'Parch Marque' card which is a lovely mottled cream. A blank white paper insert, for your message, has been stitched in place on the spine of the card. The card is supplied with a matching c6 (standard letter size) envelope.
Sent to you by first class post, wrapped in cellophane (old stock which will not be reordered), in an over-sized envelope marked 'Please Do Not Bend', and mounted on a larger piece of stout card in order to protect the corners from rubbing and give some protection against bending.
