We happened upon a RSPB site while on a short break in North Yorkshire, and were treated to very close up views of thousands of breeding gannets.
One of my favourite seabirds, the gannet has bright blue eyes set in a creamy-yellow head, with brilliant white body plumage that contrasts with jet black wing-tips.
This necklace is my "Ode to a Gannet".

Full description
Striking design featuring creamy-golden mother-of-pearl, white shell and hematite beads with two 'aquamarine' top quality Austrian crystals highlighted with bright blue glass seed beads and small hematite rounds, inspired by my favourite seabird, the gannet.
Finished with a gold vermeil trigger clasp.
Gold vermeil is sterling silver plated with gold, and the clasp is stamped "925".
Hand made in my home workshop here in beautiful Devon, UK, this would make a lovely gift for a birthday, anniversary, bird lover, mother's day, or a well earned treat for yourself.
Measures approximately 18 inches (46cm).
Price includes delivery within mainland UK.
Your necklace will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a pretty organza gift bag.
