Full description
Inspired by bluebells and their gorgeous shape, I have made some bluebell stud earrings .They are made from copper and hang just off the earlobe with a flat back piece and sterling silver stud fastenings. The copper has acquired deeper shades of red, as a result of heat and I have brought the edges and some highlights back to shiny copper for a bit of depth and variety to the colour and tones. There is a pleasing blob of silver just protruding from the bottom edge as part of the stamens of the bluebell.
The total length of the earrings is 16mm/ just over half an inch.
A perfect gift, as bluebells are said to symbolise gratitude as well as humility and everlasting love.
Presented in a gift box made with recycled cardboard; tied with raffia ready to gift and posted in plastic free packaging.
