This seconds Sunday sale bag is perfect, no faults, it just needs to move from my sale items into a new home, and make way for fresh stock! I found this lovely designer fragment called “Little leaves” by Vanessa Arbuthnott on a stall of upholstery fabrics at York car boot. Lucky me! Its so nice to have made it into something pretty and practical.

This seconds Sunday sale bag is perfect, it just needs to make way for some fresh stock! This toiletries or make up bag has a fresh spring time feel, and is made from a wonderful designer fabric remnant. The print, with its repeat of pretty pink leaves, reminds me of Indian fabrics, handprinted with wood blocks. These little bags are always useful for storage, make up or toiletries. It would make a lovely spring or summer birthday present, or a gift for someone going to Uni, or leaving home for the first time.
The fabric has been backed with canvas to strengthen it, but it is still a soft little bag.
The width is 22 cm and the height is 16 cm with a 22 cm maroon zip opening.
The base is boxed at each end to give it a little more room, and it is lined with a beige and white striped Ikea remnant fabric.
There is a hook for twirling around your finger, or to hang up as a little piece of art work in its own right, and it is finished with my own embroidered name tag.
Can be machine washed on a cool, short setting. Please leave to dry naturally on the line, or a clothes horse.

I like to reuse. Your bag will be posted out wrapped in clean, recycled packaging from my hoard, and sent as Royal Mail 2nd class.
