At my wifes suggestion i combined my pottery and woodworking skills to make a set of bowls, primarily to carry nibbles to accompany drinks in the garden. The set was much admired and further sets proved very popular with friends. With better weather on the horizon, good time to make some more.

Full description
A pair of two stoneware bowls mounted on a chunky wood platter, perfect for serving dips, snacks or nibbles. The set is ideal for alfresco or indoor occassions and would make an ideal gift. The hand thrown bowls are decorated in blue with black undertones, overlaid in a food safe glaze. The platter is made from wild mango wood finished in multiple coats of food safe finishing oil providing a durable satin gloss appearance. The platter edges are all gently rounded giving a very smooth tactile feel. Surface indents are shaped to prevent the bowls sliding and finger holds to easily lift and grip the platter provided on the underside.
Dimensions;-
Platter - 295 x 150 x 20 mm thick.
Bowls - 100 diameter x 90 mm ht.
To care for the set, bowls should ideally be hand washed and dried however they are also dishwasher proof. The platter can be wiped clean with damp cloth and dried (Platter should not be immersed in water).
