Hello and welcome to HalfMoon designs.
Thank you so much for visiting. I hope you enjoy my original paintings and have fun browsing the collections, floral, lingerie and fashion. My artwork is also printed on a selection of mugs and magnetic notepads.
Please don't hesitate to contact me should you need anything and if you find a favourite image, I would love you to click on it.
My grandparents lived in a little Norfolk village in a 2 up, 2 down cottage by the river. Its a pub car park now. But when I was quite small I would spend holidays there. My grandad would cycle through the Coltishall countryside with me on the back, or later on my own little bike. He knew everything about nature and I adored him. We saw many wild flowers on our adventures and, of course, poppies have another special meaning. He was in the First World War. I can't imagine him enduring mustard gas and heaven knows what else, so I always wear my poppy with pride.

Full description
Red poppies with buds and seed pods in the misty Norfolk grass as the sun is burning the morning dew away. The background is a haze of yellow and orange and the poppies are lifting the heads to the warmth. Poppies grow everywhere in the Norfolk countryside. There is even a vintage railway called the 'Poppy Line' which travels through fields of them, on part of its route. I created this painting in my Norfolk studio and it is mounted, framed in lime-washed wood and ready for you to hang. I called this one 'Norfolk Poppies IV'. Perfect for poppy lovers everywhere.
