I have always thought 'Roxanne' by the Police was such a powerful number but when you see it performed in the brilliant Baz Luhrmann's Moulin Rouge it reaches another level altogether.
However, years before that I was amazed by Toulouse Lautrec's paintings of the dancers from that era. I loved the way he captured movement and form in just a few strategic brush stokes, so an overload of inspiration here and I can't wait to do more Moulin Rouge inspired pieces.

Full description
An original red corset watercolour painting featuring a boned bodice with little buttons. The bust has 3 layers of red dot netting. The first covers the top section of the bra, indicated by a cross-hatch effect and the second and third spill out above. The same netting is attached over the base of the corset in ruched layers, flowing around with a side bow. This painting is part of my sexy 'Lingerie Art Collection' created in my Norfolk studio and is mounted and wrapped. The overall size is 42cm x 32cm and the internal image is 30cm x 26cm. Let me introduce 'Roxanne II'.
