Thank you so much for visiting. I hope you enjoy my original paintings and have fun browsing the collections, floral, lingerie and fashion. My artwork is also printed on a selection of mugs and magnetic notepads.

A lot of my 'Floral Collection' are quite delicate watercolours on paper but now and again I feel like creating something a bit different. Canvas is the perfect way to break from a watery look. However watercolour is my preferred medium and I can't resist the flexibility it offers so I needed to use white designers gouache as a base and to give the petals texture so that the watercolour paint would provide all those soft, muted shades. Roses are so varied and always a joy to paint.

Full description
This original watercolor painting of pink and white roses on canvas was created in my Norfolk studio and is part of my 'Floral Collection'. I have used gouache to give the petals depth and texture whilst the watercolour paint creates the detail. There is one open rose facing towards the right, 2 buds with leaves and a sprig of gypsophilia. The background is in rich shades of cream and paler pink, making the whole effect warm and subtle. It would happily find a home in any room and is ready for you to hang. The measurements are 70cm x 50cm x 4cm. I call this one Rose Study 2.
