Hello and welcome to HalfMoon designs.
Thank you so much for visiting. I hope you enjoy my original paintings and have fun browsing the collections, floral, lingerie and fashion. My artwork is also printed on a selection of mugs and magnetic notepads.

I wanted to create something intensley feminine with this 'Lingerie Collection' It has given me the opportunity to combine my background in fashion and textiles with my love of painting. I have really enjoyed adding an extra dimension by hand sewing elements to create a new twist. However, the watercolour paper is so thick that I have to make a hole with a normal needle so the the much finer beading needle will go through. It is really time consuming but I think the end result is quite effective.

Full description
This is an original bra and knickers painting in cream and pink featuring seed pearls and cream satin ribbon. The detail is in sepia ink which high lights the white and pink 'bell flower' design. The tip of each flower has a hand stitched pink bead. The waistband and the bra base are formed from a row of ribbon with a pretty pearl free standing edge. Pink strips are the background. The art-work is from my 'Lingerie Collection' created in my Norfolk studio. It is such a glamorous and sexy look it could almost work in a 'Bridal Collection', maybe that's the next one to design. The painting is double mounted and framed in lime-washed wood and is ready to hang. The overall dimension is 57cm x 48.5cm. The internal image is 43cm x 33cm.
The collection has such personality I had to give them names, I have called this one 'Sugar Sweet II'
