Hello and welcome to HalfMoon designs.
Thank you so much for visiting. I hope you enjoy my original paintings and have fun browsing the collections, floral, lingerie and fashion. My artwork is also printed on a selection of mugs and magnetic notepads.

I wanted to create something intensley feminine with my 'Lingerie Collection'. It has given me the opportunity to combine my background in fashion and textiles with my love of painting. I have really enjoyed adding an extra dimension by hand sewing material elements as well. However, the watercolour paper is so thick I have to make a hole with a normal needle first so that the much finer beading needle will go through. The process is very time consuming but I think the results are quite effective.

Full description
This is an original watercolour bra and knickers painting featuring hand stitched cream satin ribbon and seed pearls. The fine detail is picked out with sepia ink and the background is striped in pale blue. The pretty scroll and heart design is painted in muted pink and sepia tones. Satin ribbon forms the waistband and bra straps, both of which have a double row of seed pearls. Seed pearls are also scattered overall. The art-work is from my 'Lingerie Collection' created at my Norfolk studio. The sexy look is naturally captured in the colour scheme and would be a glamorous addition in your home. The painting is mounted, in a lime -washed wooden frame and ready to hang. The external dimensions are 61cm x 50cm. The internal image is 44cm x 33cm. This collection has such personality I had to give them names, I have called this one Pearls and Swirls.
