Full description
This wall hanging of a splendid peacock is a 3d needle felted sculpture which is flat on the reverse allowing it to hang naturally on the wall. The peacock has been sculpted into shape using woollen fibres and a barbed felting needle and covered in appropriately coloured merino wool fibres. The feathers on the back and wings have all been individually needle felted and each tail feather has been individually crafted, wired and mounted on a felt sheet. The wires allow the tail to be adjusted slightly. The flat, reverse side has been covered with a blue felt sheet and a small hanging hook added.
The peacock measures approximately 35cm (14") tall and 35cm (14") wide and would look stunning hanging on any wall.
