Hello and welcome to my Folksy shop! In addition to the UK, I'm happy to ship most items to the US, Canada, Japan and Australia - just message me for a shipping quotation If a shipping price isn't shown against an item you're interested in. Please note that all US shipping prices shown DO NOT include tracking.
Many of the pieces I make are made to order and the shipping time is a 'worse case scenario' estimate - I will often make and send items quicker than indicated, although things do sometimes slow down at busy times. If you want something urgently, just message me and I'll confirm if I can meet your deadline. Some items over £30 are posted via the 'signed for' Royal Mail service automatically, but if you'd like to make sure you have this on your order, just message me.

Do you love the idea of making your own Christmas stocking, but don't feel confident about the cutting out and sewing machine part? Don't worry - I'll do that bit for you and you can have fun just decorating the stocking in your preferred style and colour scheme!
I've been making various styles and shapes of Christmas Stockings for years now, and I really enjoy making felt stockings and decorating them with all sorts of fabrics and shiny bibelots of all types - there's nothing like it for getting you into the holiday mood! It wasn't until a customer approached me and asked me if I could make her some plain stockings for her kids to decorate, that it occured to me that more people out there might want these to do a bit of Christmas crafting too!

Full description
What you get with this stocking is a cute little stocking shape in a diminutive size (measurements: 12" / 31cm from the top of the leg to the heel, and the foot measures 6.75" / 17cm). I've made the stocking with plain white 100% wool felt fabric, strong enough to hold a handful of little gifts. There is no lining in this stocking, which of course allows you to easily add your decoration to the outside of the stocking - you could embroider it, sew on other wool felt or fabric shapes, add beads, sequins, buttons, ribbons, bells, tinsel, shapes that you've crocheted or knitted or macramed or woven - whatever catches your eye in the craft store!
I've included some photographs in this listing of similar stockings that I've decorated myself as well as a few shots of a stocking 'blank' with a variety of craft materials, to give you some inspiration (none of the crafting materials are included but I'd be happy to give you some pointers to places where you can purchase these, if you need help).
Your stocking will come with a hanging ribbon attached, which can either be a plain cotton tape in blue, pink or purple, or some Christmas themed ribbon, if that's what you prefer. Please let me know when ordering what your preference is. If you want a stocking made with a different coloured felt or ribbon, just convo me to find out what's possible.
