☆ all the seaglass and pebbles you see in my work has been used as found. Decades of rolling about in the sea has worked its beautiful magic.
☆ your item will be posted using recycled packaging, which isn't incredibly attractive, but it serves its purpose. And anyway, it's what's inside that counts. : )
When I found this beautiful piece of driftwood in East Sussex, I wondered about the whirls and holes...I learnt that the holes are from thorns that once were.
I wanted to celebrate the gorse, so I chose seaglass in colours to reflect this tough and colourful plant.

A wonderfully organic and rustic driftwood gorse necklace.
A beautifully sea-smoothed piece of gorse wood, coated with a water-based satin wood-varnish, hangs from a fully adjustable coffee coloured cotton cord.
There are two pieces of smooth golden yellow and light olive green seaglass, a beach-found seed kernal or nut, threaded onto the cord, just sitting above the driftwood piece.
There are light green glass beads on each cord finale, and the cord length is adjusted by means of a tan leather slip knot system.
The maximum length, including the driftwood, is 36 inches long.
The driftwood gorse itself is 8cm long and 3cm at the widest point.
It will be carefully wrapped in a lovely little drawstring linen bag.
