☆ all the seaglass and pebbles you see in my work has been used as found. Decades of rolling about in the sea has worked its beautiful magic.
☆ your item will be posted using recycled packaging, which isn't incredibly attractive, but it serves its purpose. And anyway, it's what's inside that counts. : )
I made this during the first lockdown, when we couldn't visit beaches, or anywhere else for that matter.
After a proper rummage through my jars of a million things, the inspiration for this necklace was born.

A beautifully random selection of beachcombed finds, have been hand-drilled and made into a fully adjustable chain of loveliness.
In mainly neutral and whites, I've used cockle shell, various seaworn shell fragments, frosty white seaglass, a flat pebble, a piece of cornish slate, and a wire-wrapped sea pottery remnant (which could have been a small teacup handle?). The clasp has a small, wire-wrapped piece of seaglass, because I love attention to detail.
I've added three random size stainless steel circles throughout, to give this Beachcomber's Necklace a light and contemporary feel.
Measuring at a maximum of 30 inches long, through to a minimum of ...well there is actually no minimum as you can hook the lobster clasp pretty much anywhere along the chain, wherever there's a jump ring...!
It could even possibly be wrapped around twice, creating an amazing choker.
It will be carefully packaged in a sturdy, white cardboard jewellery box with a black velvet insert, and will be posted using Royal Mail 2nd class 'signed for'.
