All my initial jewellery boxes were made from lighter woods, predominately oak. To provide variation I experimented with walnut and was well pleased with the result - a box which was not only beautiful to look at, but also wonerfully tactile. Encouraged, I produced an initial set of boxes which proved very popular.

Full description
A beautiful jewellery - trinket box, shaped into scalloped oval, made from solid walnut. The simple but stylish design looks fantastic on any dressing table. The box exterior is finished in multiple coats of drying oil producing a luxurious, tactile, light gloss finish which allows the inherent beauty of the grain pattern to show through. The box internals are finished with soft red flocking.
