I was inspired by relations looking for a suitable clock for a childrens bedroom. Rather than the traditional wall clock, I was looking for a free standing design which would appeal to both children and adults. I experimented with a range of animal pictures seeking those with clear attributes which make them distinctive in a stylised design. 'Big Foot' is the latest in the range but differs in being a imaginery creature as opposed an actual representation of an animal.

Full description
A quirky clock- 'Big Foot' - which would make a great gift for any age or occasion. This unique design is charecterised by the large feet and curly tail making the clock both attractive and very stable. The clock body is made from a single piece of cherry wood with the addition of feet and curly tail made from beech wood. The clock is finished with a durable drying oil providing a deep satin sheen.
The clock is fitted with a Seiko SKP quartz mechanism which is both very quiet and reliable.The mechanism has been run for 12 hours to ensure its integrity.
Providing an attractive contrast to the golden brown of the body the clock face is finished with black baton hands and arabic numerals.
Dimensions: Ht 155mm x W 135mm x D 125mm (from toes to tip of tail).
(AA battery is required for operation).
