Silver stitched button bangle.
This bangle (there are 3 bangles in the main image) makes part of my range of cross stitched silver buttons, inspired by my childhood and a background in textile design.
Completely handmade by me in my studio in York.
I've given the silver a hammered effect, domed it, and drilled 4 holes to give the appearance of a button. The button measures 12mm in diameter.
I've used 1.5mm sterling silver wire for the bangle which is nice and sturdy and I've incorporated a clasp style fastening which cleverly hooks around the button to keep the bangle in place. Also handy for taking the bangle on and off if needs. The bangle measures an average 20cm in circumference.
