I love a bangle. I really do. I have a whole range I wear myself, and I particularly like them to stack up so that I jingle gently everywhere I go :-)
If you don't have an existing bangle to take measurements from:
Cut a long strip of card (cereal packs are perfect for this) about a centimetre wide and stick some sellotape to one end so it overhangs a little
Hold your hand as if you were putting on a bangle
Bring all of your fingers together with your thumb and little finger touching
Take the strip of card and wrap it round your hand at the widest point and stick it together
Voila! A card bangle
Trim most of the excess card, check that the resulting 'bangle' can be moved on and off your wrist and without it tearing or deforming. If it’s too loose, re-stick it a little more snugly. If it’s too tight, loosen it a little
Once you are happy with the fit, remove it and cut it in two
Measure the length between the two cuts in millimetres and note it down. Be precise

This listing is for a set of 3 bangles made from sterling silver and linked with a plain sterling silver jumpring.
These are made using 1.8mm sterling wire, and by hammering two with different textures and leaving one smooth. Although the bangles are only slim, combining three of them means that they become too heavy to sell without hallmarking, so they get sent for formal hallmarking at the London / Edinburgh Assay Office (ie more than 7.78g) depending on when I made it.

Please see the final photograph for an image of one of my hallmarks. The size and placement of the hallmark on your piece will depend on the item you purchase as the Assay Office are excellent at adjusting the size of the mark to fit the size of the piece
I have a couple in oval and round ready for dispatch - the thickness of your joining jump-ring may be slightly thicker than that in these photos.
Choose from Small Medium or Large, or tell me the exact size you'd like me to make for you.
NOTES:
Wrist vary.
Small tends to be about 6-6.5 inches (15-16.5cm), medium 6.5-7.5 inches (16.5-19cm), large 7.5-8.5 inches (19-21.5cm).
Note - I now buy all my silver as certified eco-silver, meaning it has all the properties of refined sterling silver, but has been sourced from scrap and waste, rather than being freshly mined, thereby reducing the environmental impact
