Full description
This sterling silver botanical necklace has a fantastic dendrite gemstone set within its design. Dendrite is called the stone of plenitude and brings fullness and abundance to every area of your life and helps to encourage the enjoyment of each moment of the day.
I love the branch like pattern on the surface of the stone. The word dendrite comes from the Greek word for ‘tree-like' and is perfect for this stone. The branches are created from iron and manganese ions which seep into tiny surface fractures on the stone from neighbouring rocks and then crystallise creating these branching patterns.
The colours in the necklace are lovely for wearing in the Winter.
Each part of this necklace has been handmade by myself using traditional techniques. The dendrite is surrounded by little botanical shapes and the surface of the silver has been darkened using a patina which has then been rubbed back to enhance the design.
The dimensions of the necklace are:

-- pendant width 2.5 cm
