As a painter for many years I am inspired by landscape and have painted outdoors and in the studio for over 40 years. I have recently also been using textiles in my art and enjoy using remnants from the silk weaving factories in Sudbury, Suffolk. This piece is inspired by the colourful cottages in villages and towns of Suffolk.

Full description
This original piece of art measures 20 .5 x 20 .5 cm. I used fabric remnants from the Silk Weaving Factory in Sudbury Suffolk. I used free motion machine embroidey and added details with hand embroidery. It is lined on the reverse and has a hanging loop.
