This bright pendant features a diamond of Harley fordite which has been bezel set in sterling silver. The fordite has a pattern of rings in shades of red (some are sparkly), white and grey making it suitable for a gent, a lady or anyone who loves the unusual (or their motor bike). Measures 30mm top to bottom and 29mm across, it has an integral bail behind the fordite which is large enough to fit a leather thong (as shown in the photos) or silver chain but you could also put it on ribbon if you wanted to. I can supply it with either a chain or leather thong, please use the variations to choose.
Fordite is layers of cured paint that built up in the old spray booths at car plants. The dealer I bought this particular material from believes it to have come from a Harley Davidson spray shop - the colours are certainly consistent with the colour charts I have found. Changes in how vehicles are painted mean that fordite is only formed in small quantities and it is becoming increasingly difficult to source, I was lucky enough to get a parcel of this material so if you are after something slightly different or to match a beloved bike drop me a message and I'll see if I have what you are after. Comes in a gift box.
