All jewellery listed here that says silver is sterling silver, I do not use silver plate at all. There will be elements of sterling silver in every design (except keyrings), some will be completely so, others may have combinations of copper, brass, bronze, glass, enamel, pewter, resin, upcycled biscuit tins and pre-decimal coins and/or semi-precious stones as well. Many of the designs are one-of-a-kind.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
A guitar pick handcut from a pre-decimal bronze penny coin. This one is from 1911 and the reign of George V. (other dates may be available but bear in mind that for this use, the thinner the better and the older they are, the more worn they're likely to be.)
Despatched wrapped in tissue paper and organza bag via the Royal Mail standard service in the UK. (Extra items added to the order will need an additional postal charge and upgraded to my usual Royal Mail Signed For service)
Recycled in Lancashire.
This penny is obviously not in mint condition, it reflects decades of daily use.
This is stock and ready to go. If you would like a particular year, this will take time to make. These coins were minted until 1967 (though not in every year) but I have most of the years they were available. I'm using the older ones for guitar picks, rather than the more "recent" dates, as these are more worn and slightly thinner, so more suitable for practical guitar use, rather than the jewellery I usually make from the later dates.
FYI Bronze - 95% copper, 4% tin, 1% zinc. Bronze represents the 8th wedding anniversary in the traditional calendar and the 19th in the modern version.
