A lot of the sea glass I collect on my dog walks not suitable to be used for jewellery items - please have a look at the other things in my shop. All the glass I pick up has a unique beauty and sun catchers make a wonderful vehicle for this to be seen.
Using driftwood and unwanted fishing line makes for a 100% recycled product.

Full description

This unique suncatcher is made from a piece of driftwood and sea glass found washed up on my local beach. The piece of shell is from Easington beach. The driftwood has been bleached at home and the nylon fishing reel thread was unused and unwanted (except by me). So this piece is made completely from unwanted materials.

The wood mount is 26cm in length and the drop is 44 cm to bottom of last piece of glass. The way the pieces of glass and shell move and reflect light is unique to this piece since all sea glass is unique due to the action of the sea, sand and stones on it.

The last photo shows the sun catcher as a window decoration.

This item will be sent out by Royal Mail small parcel 2nd class delivery.
