Full description
This is a large statement piece! I have hand carved a pair of cormorants and painted them with artists acrylics with pearlescent highlights to give a suggestion of feathers. They have hand tinted glass eyes and have been finished to a soft shine with wax. They are mounted on a large curved piece of driftwood.
I can imagine these sitting on a huge window cill looking out over the sea as I like the reverse side as much if not more than the front!
The piece is 49cm tall, 28cm wide and 24cm deep approximately. This piece is unique and will never be repeated as the inspiration was the unusual piece of driftwood.
