Full description
This colourful rooster (called Bertrand!) has a stuffed, chocolate coloured linen body, a felt headpiece that has a painted beak, tiny bead eyes and red felt comb & wattles.
The wings are made from brown and green felt and have 3 bluey-green sequins & a royal blue button for interest.
The legs are formed from string knotted , with 2 differently coloured wooden buttons, and the tail is created by stitching on 6 folded pieces of blue and green ribbon .
Bertrand is hung in string from a large gold split ring sewn on his back. He measures approximately 15cm from the top of his crown to the knots of his feet and about 10cm wide- not including his tail feathers!
