Hello and welcome to my Folksy shop! I've been making for others since 2013 and if you'd like to see what my customers have said about my work since then (before I opened up here on Folksy), you can read more than 1,000 reviews on my web site: http://www.thecrimsonrabbit.co.uk/ (click 'Reviews' on the bar at the top of the page).

In addition to the UK, I'm happy to ship most items to the US, Canada, Japan and Australia - just message me for a shipping quotation if a shipping price isn't shown against an item you're interested in. Please note that all US shipping prices shown DO NOT include tracking. If you'd like your package sent with tracking, please message me for a quotation.

Many of the pieces I make are made to order and the shipping time is a 'worse case scenario' estimate - I will often make and send items quicker than indicated, although things do sometimes slow down at busy times. If you want something urgently, just message me and I'll confirm if I can meet your deadline. Some items over £30 are posted via the 'Tracked 24' Royal Mail service automatically, but if you'd like to make sure you have this on your order, just message me.

I'm more active on Instagram than anywhere else: https://www.instagram.com/the_crimson_rabbit/ but you can always find me online elsewhere: my blog is here: www.thecrimsonrabbit.co.uk, my facebook page here: www.facebook.com/thecrimsonrabbitpage and my Pinterest addiction is evidenced here: http://www.pinterest.com/crimsonrabbit/

I'm calling this a project bag because that's how I'd use it, but you can use it however you like! If you don't have endless knit, crochet and sewing projects to put in it as I do, you could use it as a larger sized make up bag, for toiletries, or really anything else you'd put in a generously sized zippered bag. It makes a great gift for a creative friend - trust me, they'll find LOTS of things to put in it!

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.

Read the Folksy Returns Policy.

Full description

The bag is made with a beautiful cotton print called 'Bees', which is part of the Magic Forest collection by Sarah Watts for Cotton and Steel. I've partnered it with a metallic copper and gold Essex Linen by Robert Kaufman, which is super sparkly (you can see this best in the last photo). I then add a layer of interfacing to the whole, before adding a layer of fleece for a soft squishiness. The bag is lined with a toning pale pink coloured cotton, which has a slip pocket added. Everything is then stitched together with a good quality YKK zip and top stitched for a tidy finish. The final touch is adding a removable wristlet strap using a simple keychain loop and clasp.

The bag stands 7.75 inches 19.5cm tall and is 9.5 inches 24cm wide at the widest point. The depth measured across the bottom is 3.5 inches 8.25cm. I've included a picture of the bag with a skein of shawl yarn, to give an idea of scale.

If you prefer your bag to open up wide and don't mind a small gap at the end of the zip, let me know when ordering and I'll install the zip slightly differently when making your bag to enable this.

If you're looking for a particular colour scheme or theme for your project bag, please get in touch via convo or a custom order request and I'll let you know what I can do. The last photo shows how this bag looks with a shoulder strap as an alternative to the wristlet, which is another option available - just message me to discuss.
