Hello and welcome to my Folksy shop! In addition to the UK, I'm happy to ship most items to the US, Canada, Japan and Australia - just message me for a shipping quotation If a shipping price isn't shown against an item you're interested in. Please note that all US shipping prices shown DO NOT include tracking.
Many of the pieces I make are made to order and the shipping time is a 'worse case scenario' estimate - I will often make and send items quicker than indicated, although things do sometimes slow down at busy times. If you want something urgently, just message me and I'll confirm if I can meet your deadline. Some items over £30 are posted via the 'signed for' Royal Mail service automatically, but if you'd like to make sure you have this on your order, just message me.

Full description
The feature fabric on this drawstring project bag is Menagerie Onyx from the Indian Summer collection by Art Gallery fabrics. Fox, racoon, deer, bear, owl, squirrel, otter and mice portraits merge together in midnight and white. I've partnered the print with a gorgeous midnight coloured Essex Linen with a sparkling silver metallic thread running through it, which really makes me think of a midnight frosted landscape.
The bag is a perfect size for a smaller project - certainly large enough for a shawl but compact and squishy enough to take with you in a larger bag when you're on the go. You can see the dimensions of the bag in the last photograph.
I've lined the bag in a bright red cotton and added a yarn guide with metal press stud opening in the side seam. The corners have been folded to create pretty triangle shapes that flatten the bag and help it stand on it's own so you can work out of it. The drawstrings are a lovely soft cotton woven cord in a matching red shade.
All the fabrics are interfaced with woven cotton for strength and to help resist creasing a little, and I add a layer of fleece for a little more body and padding. Please note that the fabric placement in the photographs is of one sample bag, and your bag could look slightly different, depending on how the fabric is cut.
