Hello and welcome to my Folksy shop! I've been making for others since 2013 and if you'd like to see what my customers have said about my work since then (before I opened up here on Folksy), you can read more than 1,000 reviews on my web site: http://www.thecrimsonrabbit.co.uk/ (click 'Reviews' on the bar at the top of the page).
In addition to the UK, I'm happy to ship most items to the US, Canada, Japan and Australia - just message me for a shipping quotation if a shipping price isn't shown against an item you're interested in. Please note that all US shipping prices shown DO NOT include tracking. If you'd like your package sent with tracking, please message me for a quotation.
Many of the pieces I make are made to order and the shipping time is a 'worse case scenario' estimate - I will often make and send items quicker than indicated, although things do sometimes slow down at busy times. If you want something urgently, just message me and I'll confirm if I can meet your deadline. Some items over £30 are posted via the 'Tracked 24' Royal Mail service automatically, but if you'd like to make sure you have this on your order, just message me.
I'm more active on Instagram than anywhere else: https://www.instagram.com/the_crimson_rabbit/ but you can always find me online elsewhere: my blog is here: www.thecrimsonrabbit.co.uk, my facebook page here: www.facebook.com/thecrimsonrabbitpage and my Pinterest addiction is evidenced here: http://www.pinterest.com/crimsonrabbit/

I love to wear a cowl rather than a scarf, just because it is so much more convenient - you put it on and it stays there! The one drawback with cowls can be that when you twist them to put them on, you may end up with the 'wrong' non-pretty side facing out. The perfect way to get around this is to use a completely reversible stitch pattern, which this cowl has - it looks exactly the same and pretty on both sides!
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
The cowl has been handknit using Kettle dyed pure merino wool in a semi variegated shade called 'Frank Ochre', which ranges from bright yellow to richer green yellows and works beautifully with this textural ribbed stitch pattern.
At 82" long, it is the perfect size to wrap as many as three times around your neck and fit pretty closely, although it also looks lovely when worn wrapped a couple of times, when it is long enough to arrange over your shoulders too, if you wish. The merino wool is very, very soft close to your neck and merino is very unlikely to cause irritation to anyone who usually has some issues with other sheeps wool. The width of the cowl is a generous 11".
Postage is for 'signed for' service or 'tracked' for international shipping. Please note that I do automatically refund postal cost overages for international items.
