Hello and welcome to my Folksy shop! I've been making for others since 2013 and if you'd like to see what my customers have said about my work since then (before I opened up here on Folksy), you can read more than 1,000 reviews on my web site: http://www.thecrimsonrabbit.co.uk/ (click 'Reviews' on the bar at the top of the page).
In addition to the UK, I'm happy to ship most items to the US, Canada, Japan and Australia - just message me for a shipping quotation if a shipping price isn't shown against an item you're interested in. Please note that all US shipping prices shown DO NOT include tracking. If you'd like your package sent with tracking, please message me for a quotation.
Many of the pieces I make are made to order and the shipping time is a 'worse case scenario' estimate - I will often make and send items quicker than indicated, although things do sometimes slow down at busy times. If you want something urgently, just message me and I'll confirm if I can meet your deadline. Some items over £30 are posted via the 'Tracked 24' Royal Mail service automatically, but if you'd like to make sure you have this on your order, just message me.
I'm more active on Instagram than anywhere else: https://www.instagram.com/the_crimson_rabbit/ but you can always find me online elsewhere: my blog is here: www.thecrimsonrabbit.co.uk, my facebook page here: www.facebook.com/thecrimsonrabbitpage and my Pinterest addiction is evidenced here: http://www.pinterest.com/crimsonrabbit/

How often have you found yourself carrying around your beautiful sweater or blanket project in a shopping bag because you didn't have a project bag big enough for it? There's nothing sadder... That's why I decided to supersize my regular project bags and offer a much happier, and far more suitable, carrying device!
Postage is for 'signed for' service or 'tracked' for international shipping. Please note that I do automatically refund postal cost overages for international items.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
In a bag of this size, it's really important to have some structure so that the bag will stand up while you knit or crochet out of it, if that's what you like to do. I chose a fun kawaii panda print on canvas cotton and partnered it up with a zingy lime green Essex linen and bright yellow zip as my starting point, then interfaced both the outer and lining before adding a foam stabiliser to the bottom half of the outer, and a soft fleece to the top. This means that the bag happily stands up on its own, but the top half is still soft enough for you to fold over the top if you want to (the zip is 30.5cm / 12" long).
The inside lining is made from the lime green Essex linen fabric and there are two adjacent slip pockets. The pockets are large enough to put a ball of yarn in, so that you can work with two colours from the bag, or just use them as regular pockets. As well as a little fancy decorative stitching on the edge, each one has a magnetic closure so that you can keep the contents in place when moving the bag around.
I've added a detachable wristlet like my regular sized bags, but this time it attaches to a D-ring and a more substantial fabric mounting on the bag, to cope with the extra weight of a larger project.
The images give a good idea of the scale of the bag - the 2nd one shows it with 3 skeins of worsted yarn and full size knitting needles, the 4th gives actual measurements, and the last has one of these size bags with one of my regular sized project bags.
